The AI segment of the Chats tab is a chat with Superhost’s built-in assistant. You can ask it about guest information, reservation updates, and operational questions for the property you’re working in. The assistant is available to anyone signed in to a property — there’s no separate setup or role to enable it.

Start a conversation

Open the AI segment

On the Chats tab, tap AI.

Start a new chat

Tap the + button to begin a new conversation. The assistant opens with How can I help you today?

Ask a question

Type into the box that reads Ask anything and send your message. On a new chat you can also tap one of the suggested starters, such as Show today’s check-ins, What was our occupancy last month?, or Any maintenance issues?
The assistant answers for the property scope you’ve selected in the property switcher, so pick the right property before you ask.

What the assistant can look up

The assistant draws on your property’s live data, so you can ask it about day-to-day operations in plain language:

Reservations

Look up bookings by date range, room, guest, or status — for example today’s check-ins, who’s staying this weekend, or the details of a specific reservation.

Guests

Pull up a guest’s details by name, such as their contact information and stay history.

Tasks

Check cleaning and maintenance tasks, filtered however you need — open jobs, a particular room, or what’s due today.

Property & rooms

Ask about your property’s layout, its rooms and units, and their details.

Team

Find team members by name or role, and see who’s assigned to a task.

Occupancy & stats

Get metrics like occupancy over a date range and other property statistics.

Ask by voice

You don’t have to type. Tap the microphone button in the message bar to record your question out loud, then tap it again to stop. While Superhost turns your recording into text the box shows Transcribing…; once it finishes, your words appear in the box ready to send or edit.

Attach a file or photo

To give the assistant something to look at, tap the + button in the message bar and add an attachment. You can attach images, PDFs, and documents alongside your question — handy for asking about a scanned booking, an invoice, or a photo of an issue. The files preview above the box before you send.

Your past conversations

Each chat you start is saved and listed under the AI segment, most recent first, so you can reopen an earlier conversation. Superhost names each chat automatically from your first message, so the list is easy to scan. Start a fresh one any time with the + button. If the assistant can’t respond, it shows The assistant couldn’t respond with a Try again option — check your connection and retry.
