Direct messages and group chats
A team chat is either a direct (one-to-one) message with a single teammate or a group chat with several people.- In a direct message, the header shows the other person’s name and avatar.
- In a group chat, each message carries the sender’s name above it, so you can always tell who said what.
Send a message
At the bottom of the conversation is the message box. Tap it, type your message, and send — it appears in the thread right away.Send a voice note
When you’d rather speak than type, send a voice note. With the message box empty, tap the microphone button to its right and start talking, then tap again to stop and send. Your teammate gets a small player they can tap to listen to, with your message written out as text alongside it — handy when they’re with guests and can’t play the audio out loud.Call a teammate
In a one-to-one team chat, a phone button sits in the chat header. Tap it to place an internal call to that teammate without leaving the conversation. They see a dedicated Incoming · Internal screen when the call comes through. Internal calls between you and a teammate also appear as call pills inside the one-to-one thread, so the chat and its calls stay in one place. See Phone calls for the in-call controls and how those pills behave.Where to go next
